One thing is certain - Caribbean Holidays are a great way to get away from it all!  When nothing will make it “all better” like a white sand beach, light breeze in the air, warm glowing sun then the Caribbean is the place to go.

There is so much to do that just staying for a few days isn’t the best option.  If at all possible an extended stay where you visit several places is the best way to go.  So many adventures await you in the Caribbean - it is truly one of the most magical places on Earth!

So when you are thinking of holidays in Caribbean locations such as Cancun where there are beaches and beaches, water activities, cenotes (under river caverns)as well as world class scuba diving and Mayan ruins to explore.  You can get lost in this place, happily lost!

I fell in love with Honduras, especially Roatan - what a great place!  While there I went on a zip line tour, which is when you slide down cables suspended from tree-tops.  It was a blast!  It ended up on a beach, full off food, drinks, and live music.  Without a doubt, this was the best day I have had in the Caribbean.

Belize is also a favorite of mine.  The people and government are very aware of their environment, and make sure that they take good care of it.  Eco tourism is alive and well in Belize, the last time I was there I floated down a river in the middle of the rain forest, both through caves and above ground - it was absolutely amazing!  While in the caves, there were actually bats in there sleeping in the ceiling.  I had never seen anything like this before.

There are so many things to do in the Caribbean, I have only talked about a few of the places I went on my last trip, there are many more…  That is one of the cool things about Central America, South America and the Caribbean Islands - there are SO MANY places to go.  The next few holidays you take to the Caribbean will be lots of fun.  Each one of these unique places had their own wonderful things to do!
